Welcome to a selection of images of the founders of Manananggoogle from the Manananggoogle Corporate Archives.

The company’s story begins in 1898 in Intramuros, Manila, when its three founders first met. The relentless, ravenous search for “doing things better” continues to be at the core of everything Manananggoogle(™) does. Today, with more than 60,000 employees in 50 different countries, the Manananggoogle(™) empire makes hundreds of products accessible to billions of users across the globe.

Since the beginning, their goal has been to develop services and products that significantly impose upon, not just on some…but on everyone. Thanks to the voracious vision of its founders, Manananggoogle’s mission is as relevant today as ever.

Manila Biennale

Performance, video
2018

A dark fantasia of corporate production in an underground dungeon  in the walled city of Intramuros (Manila, Philippines.) The founders/chief officers of Manananggoogle Inc. allowed visitors to their subterranean C-Suite a rare window into the machinations of a formidable female future, whether leaning in or bending over. An intoxicating and intimidating evening of corporate bloodlust ensued.

Presented in the Teatrillo, Plaza San Luis Complex, Intramuros. Curated by Carlos Celdran for the Open City performance component of the Manila Biennale.
