An intermediate painting course, emphasizing the development of both technique and theme. Three major projects are both technically and thematically driven, and are designed to provide unique contemporary challenges. Lectures, field trips to galleries and technical demonstrations introduce students to various artists and techniques in contemporary painting practice.
