Spring 2015, 2016
A studio course introducing students to the skills, materials, history and language of illustration. Students creatively problem-solve for specific technical, thematic, and contextual challenges, taking projects through a full r&d creative process, learning to address collaboration and client-based expectations. They also research and discuss the practices of a variety of illustrators, both historic and contemporary, from around the globe.
