The Great Highway Gallery

Rupturre Reduxx is the latest incarnation of an ongoing project retracing what broke in 1989, and what has been rebuilt in its place. The gallery window was transformed into an immersive painted installation showcasing the 2019 video, Klub Rupturre!!, a regional TV dance party and its top ten countdown to the moment of the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. Inside the gallery were a selection of 6 small works on paper from the ongoing ‘Rupturre’ series.
