3 months across the united states on 2 vintage BMW motorcycles: JD’s 1975 R90/6, and my 1971 R75/5.
In September, we headed east from the Bay Area: we stopped in Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Ohio, and Pennsylvania over the course of a month before reaching friends in New York. We then looped up into Canada around Lake Ontario, then dropped back down through upstate NY and New England before heading south in earnest. Spent some time re-grouping in North Carolina and Georgia, then began heading back west through the southern and southwestern states, getting back home just before Thanksgiving.
