CAROLINAS
2002
Mail Order Brides/M.O.B. decamped to Charlotte, North Carolina whilst artists-in-residence at the McColl Center for Visual Art for several months in 2002. During our fall sojourn, we worked on several projects, including large-scale prints, public presentations and salons, and, of course, the karaoke epic ‘Mail Order Bride of Frankenstein” (see MOB section for more details on our hijinks there).
There were a number of side trips in NC, South Carolina, and Georgia, some highlights being a 5 minute limo ride in Savannah, Georgia, and a pilgrimage to Wofford College, in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
